Penicillin Allergy Testing

Although 10% of the population in the United States self-reports a history of Penicillin allergy, 80-90% of those are in fact not allergic to Penicillin.

Ear, Nose & Throat Associates of Chester County offers this FDA approved testing which will identify patients who are incorrectly labeled as allergic to Penicillin. The ability to administer Penicillin can provide a safer, less expensive antibiotic while possibly reducing overall medical costs since it has the potential to lessen the chances of drug resistance.
