Voted a “Top Doc” by Philadelphia Magazine, Top Doc issue, Dr. Smith is a Jefferson Medical School graduate who trained in otolaryngology and otolaryngic allergy. Honored with a fellowship in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Dr. Smith is the medical director of Ear, Nose & Throat Associates of Chester County Allergy, a state-of-the-art facility where Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) was introduced to our local community. Dr. Smith has done extensive research in this area and has been recognized for his national presentations on the subject.
Dr. Smith has also been instrumental in bringing balloon sinuplasty to our community hospitals. This innovative, sinus surgical technique is less invasive, and offers patients a faster recovery.
In addition, Dr. Smith is board certified in sleep medicine and honored with a fellowship in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is excited to offer the new convenient home sleep studies, and multiple treatment options.
Dr. Smith’s areas of special interest are allergy and asthma, sleep and snoring disorders, sinus disease, and hearing loss. During his free time, Dr. Smith enjoys fly fishing, beekeeping and spending time with his family.
